Pre-order, shipping & returns.

Matai Limited sells in numbered, limited editions on a pre-order model. You are charged when you order; the piece ships in the stated window. No restocks, no reissues.

Pre-order Terms

How pre-orders work.

Each drop is a limited, numbered edition. Pieces are made to the size of the edition — when the edition is claimed or the pre-order window closes, that is the end of it. There are no restocks and no reissues.

You are charged the full price at the time of pre-order. Your piece then enters production and ships within the window shown on the product (currently 8–10 weeks for Drop 001 · Lagi). Ship windows are estimates in good faith; if a date moves materially, we will write to you.

Pre-orders are final. Because production is committed against confirmed pre-orders, orders cannot be cancelled or changed once placed, and pre-order pieces are not eligible for return or exchange except where a piece arrives faulty or incorrect (see Returns). Please choose your size carefully.

One name, one edition number. We may limit quantity per customer to keep the edition fairly distributed.

Shipping

Where it ships from, and to.

Pieces ship from Auckland, New Zealand (worldwide) and Charlotte, North Carolina (United States & Canada). Shipping is calculated and shown at checkout.

Once your edition ships you will receive tracking by email. International orders may be subject to import duties or taxes set by the destination country; these are the recipient's responsibility and are not collected by Matai Limited.

Shipping destinations are being expanded. If your country is not available at checkout, write to us and we will do what we can.

Returns

Faulty or incorrect pieces.

Pre-order pieces are made to order and are final sale — they are not eligible for return or exchange for change of mind or fit.

If a piece arrives faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered, we will make it right. Write to talofa@matailimited.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photographs, and we will arrange a replacement or refund. Replacements come from the same edition where stock allows.

Privacy

Your details.

We collect only what we need to fulfil your order and, if you join the Aiga, to tell you about drops and the Tagaloa Connect impact report. Payments are processed by Stripe; Matai Limited never sees or stores your full card number.

We do not sell your information. You can ask us to remove you from the Aiga list at any time by writing to talofa@matailimited.com.
